Gushou is a social platform to help dragon boat rowers and captains communicate, organize and learn. Originally named “Paddlehub” by the founders Chrissy and Blake, they embraced Gushou after collaborating on a brand new identity. Gushou, a simplification of the Mandarin word for drummer, is catchier, more memorable, and much more own-able. And as the drummer is the pulse of the dragon boat, so Gushou is the heart of the dragon boat community. The logo’s concentric circles represent both the ripples of the paddle in the water, and the sound waves emanating from the drum.
